For the past few months, Janet Jackson, SREC (SD-22) and I have been traveling to Navarro County to visit with Hispanic conservative activists in Corsicana.
Fed up with the “same ‘ol same ‘ol” these Hispanics have decided to become part of the solution and gain a voice in the process.
With so many critical issues crippling the Hispanic community, the thought of doing nothing is not an option. In Navarro county, under the direction of a newly formed Board and Republican County Chairman, Frank Steed, the Hispanic “voice” is about to come to life.
From poor roads to teen pregnancy, these Hispanics agree, the solution is one with a Conservative approach. They’re not “buying” the empty promises of the Democrat Party and are stepping forward to set an example of what can be done once you decide to do something about addressing issues.
We are proud to welcome the Hispanic Republican Club of Navarro County to the fight…because it is one. We all need to support this group and help them build a strong foundation. Their hearts are in it for the right reasons, and the desire to make a positive impact in their communities drives them.
Again…from GOPisForMe…and all those standing by your side… Welcome!
