We are focused on the Issues facing the Hispanic community, like education, immigration, border security and poverty.  These issues cross Party lines and require us all to participate in improving the situation in our community.  With education being a major contributor to the growth of a solid family structure, it is our primary focus.  The Stepping Stones Education Initiative is our way to positively impact Hispanics, changing their lives and creating a bridge to the GOP.

Goals

1. To organize Hispanic citizens and develop a political group that shares our core values.
2. To demonstrate an unapologetic commitment to our conservative values within the Hispanic community.
3. To advocate the conservative values of the Republican party within the Hispanic community.
4. To debate and develop clear conservative positions that encourages dialogue in the Hispanic community.
5. To have Hispanic volunteer representation in every precinct in the county.
6. To be a conduit to the RPT on Hispanic views / issues and ideas from the Hispanic community.
7. To educate the community on the vital role Hispanic citizens play in the future of our country.

What We Stand For

• Education: Empowering families through strong, effective schools and educational reform

Every child in America should benefit from a quality education, and every parent should be able to make choices for their children that put their kids’ learning first.  Education is about improving the lives and opportunities of America’s children.

• Immigration: Reform focused on a legal immigration process that works and promotes patriotic assimilation

We believe that our nation’s legal immigration system is broken.  The legal process for entry is a maze that is incredibly difficult to navigate.  This bureaucratic stranglehold on the legal immigration process contributes directly to illegal immigration and hurts America’s economic growth.  We believe in patriotic assimilation that stresses promotion of America’s founding principles and allows immigrants to contribute to the fabric of America.

• Life: Human life deserves protection from conception until natural death.

The right to life is the most basic right endowed to us by our Creator.   We respect the dignity and right to life of every innocent human person, born and unborn. We believe that laws should protect the right to life of all innocent human beings and that no law should be passed that denies this right to life.

• Economic opportunity and lower taxes for all working families

High taxes hinder economic freedom and growth, and its distribution of wealth mechanism fosters little or no initiative on workers and the entrepreneurial class
