12 Point “Battle Plan” Missing Key Components
Despite all the news and media coverage of the issues along our Texas border and rampant illegal immigration, Ted Cruz’ campaign fails to consider securing the border as a means to stop the assault on our economy. I would think a secure border would translate into a reduction on our resources, especially since we know 60% of immigrant families are taking advantage of the welfare system.
Ted Cruz on 14th Amendment
Because of these stipulations in the platform, many candidates find themselves in a tough spot. If they agree that the Amendment should be “clarified” then they are following the Platform and will find favor among those who would more than likely, be in favor of mass deportation.
“Seen David Dewhurst?” Campaign, Wise use of Fundraising Money?
I haven’t donated my money to a candidate at this point, but if I had donated my hard earned money to the Ted Cruz campaign, I’d be ticked off. Upset with the games being played on my dime. Who cares where David Dewhurst is. If the people feel he’s “ducking,” then they won’t vote for him. Plain and simple.
Glenn Addison’s Thoughts on Illegal Immigration
Moving on, Addison stated his position on securing the border…”We must have every foot of the 1,969 mile southern border guarded by reliable means; capable of 24/7 enforcement and protection. I will stand for nothing less.” I like this too. Not sure how much this will cost, or any sort of details, but the general thought is…high security. I would think all Texans would like this.
