A few weeks ago, I visited with Alejandro Sostre Odio, the Bexar County LNRC Chairman. We discussed our common goals and talked about techniques that were working and not working. We talked about the need to develop clear messaging that we could all support, and touched on the need to roll our sleeves up and get into the community.
Changing the Language on Immigration
Should we expect every immigrant who moves here to be “loyal” to America? Should we assume every immigrant wants to become an American citizen? Do we submit allegiance to other countries when we go there for work? Do they expect us to convert and disavow all allegiance to America? Of course not.

Republicans and Conservative Activists met today at Hill College in Hillsboro to participate in the SREC-22 Summer Seminar. Organized by Janet Jackson and Jimmie Kerr, SREC Committeewoman and Committeeman, this seminar offered six specialized courses ranging from Ballot Integrity to Hispanic Outreach.

So now, we have between 15-25 Million Illegals living in America. Everyone agrees something needs to be done about it. But what? New legislation? Before we go off on that tangent, we should know what we already have to work with…perhaps improve it or learn from it. If we don’t know the details of Immigration Reform, how can we suggest new solutions?
