Republicans and Conservative Activists met today at Hill College in Hillsboro to participate in the SREC-22 Summer Seminar. Organized by Janet Jackson and Jimmie Kerr, SREC Committeewoman and Committeeman, this seminar offered six specialized courses ranging from Ballot Integrity to Hispanic Outreach.
We are extremely proud of the leadership displayed in Navarro. From the County Chairman, Frank Steed, to the new Hispanic Republicans just entering the ring, it is clear, Navarro County is well on its way to addressing issues.
We should be talking about the horrible graduation rates among Hispanics. We should be asking why Latinas lead the state in Teen pregnancy. We should be asking why some of our elected officials refuse to acknowledge the difference between a legal and illegal student in Texas.
When we become comfortable with “free” money, the end is near. Near for the individual taking the money…and near for our county, which will run out of money trying to “help” people.
