Duke Machado named Outreach Director, Republican Party McLennan County by Republican County Chairman Ralph Patterson
Local Republican Party focuses on community outreach
Waco,TX, March 29, 2013: Duke Machado, a Woodway resident and Republican activist, has recently been named Outreach Director for the Republican Party McLennan County. To encourage the promotion of Growth and Opportunity among all Americans, Ralph Patterson, the Party’s Chairman stated “Outreach to like minded conservatives is an on-going project of the Republican Party of McLennan County. As we watch the liberties of our citizens attacked everyday, it will take individuals with conviction and passion to work within the system to reclaim those ideals we hold dear. Now is not the time for us to retreat but to charge forward with our conservative values. Appointing Duke to formally coordinate this effort is another step toward continuing the growth of the Party.”
Machado will be working as a volunteer with Party leadership, elected officials and community leaders to improve the community through specific initiatives including education, immigration, economics and Constitutional awareness. “We’re facing a critical time in Texas, and residents need to be reached and communicated with about policies that could negatively affect them,” said Machado. “Our goal should be to find common ground with Conservative minded people and provide an alternative to the policies of the Democrat Party,” Machado added.
The McLennan County Republican Party Headquarters office, located in the Westview Village Shopping Mall on Valley Mills Drive, will serve as the hub for outreach initiatives and is centrally located in Waco.
In addition, voter registration and campaign readiness will be top priority in advance of mid-term elections in 2014 and the Presidential election in 2016.
