We are excited to present “Debate Night”, March 7th, 2012. This is a two-part debate, starting with the highly anticipated McLennan County Sheriff’s race between current Deputy Sheriff, Randy Plemons and former U.S. Marshal, Parnell McNamara. With so much at stake, and the security of our county in the balance, many people are asking, “who’s the right man for the job?” The people of McLennan County will get a chance to compare candidates, side by side.
After the Sheriff’s Debate, we will proceed with the second debate between Incumbent Representative for District 56, Charles “Doc” Anderson and challenger, Chris DeCluitt, local attorney and Baylor law school graduate. This race has been discussed throughout the county and has already made headlines in the Waco Tribune Herald.
This debate is sponsored by the Hispanic Republican Club of McLennan County, GOPisForMe.com and Newstalk 1230 AM, the Talk of Waco. Shane Warner, of the Shane Warner Morning Show, will serve as moderator, with a panel of three. On the panel, Wesley Lloyd, Waco Attorney, Dr. Brad Holland, and Duke Machado, Director- GOPisForMe, and Auxiliary of the Republican Party of Texas.
The entire debate will be broadcast LIVE on Newstalk 1230, with video being Live Streamed on Ustream.com, GOPisForMe.com and affiliated sites.
