Hispanic Republican Club of McLennan County – January 30th Meeting

We invite you to join us on January 30th, 2012 for our first Monthly Meeting for the Hispanic Republican Club of McLennan County.

With the political environment heating up, and Primaries in full stride, we are doing all we can to keep you informed about the candidates and races in McLennan County.

This month, we are honored to have Charles “Doc” Anderson, Texas House of Representatives District 56 as our guest speaker. He will speak on his recent trip to the border and how it affects us here in McLennan as well as discuss his views on the future of District 56.  We will also discuss the Commissioner’s, Sheriff’s and Texas House District 57 races, allowing candidates time to address the group.

Josh Tetens, Candidate for Texas House District 57 will also speak about his run for office and what some of the issues are as he sees them.

If you are a candidate and wish to speak, please call Duke Machado @ (254) 214-9368to be added to the agenda.

Also, we will discuss the recent trip we took to the border as it relates to us here in Central Texas.  We may not see it coming, but the corruption, violence and massive abuse of our welfare system is working its way North.  The trends of South Texas will eventually overcome the state if we do not address these issues immediately.  Doc Anderson will join in that discussion, providing insight from his recent trip to the border region of Texas.  You don’t want to miss this.

PLUS:  We will “Preview” a video project we’re working on based on our trip that will bring home the reality on the ground!
