GOPisForMe Spotlight: Deborah Simpson, Black Republican Activist

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting Deborah Simpson, a fired-up woman from Johnson County. She’s tired of watching her community suffer, and is determined to raise the voice of the Black Conservative. This video was filmed at Hill College, after the SREC 22 Summer Seminar in Hillsboro.

When I heard Deborah was an Activist, I knew we’d be interviewing by the end of the day. This video is a casual, yet serious conversation about the Black Community…from someone who’s “lived it her whole life.”

Last week, Deborah and I spoke to the McLennan County Republican Women’s club, where we spoke frankly about the situation on the “ground.” It is refreshing to see people like Deborah, whose energy and passion are being used for the development of the Republican Party and Conservative principles.
