Hispanic Republicans Spread Message, Build Momentum

Hispanic Republicans and local invited guests gathered at the Corsicana Public Library this past Sunday evening to talk about issues relating to the Hispanic community.

Education, immigration and representation were among the many topics discussed, but the primary focus of this meeting was the roll-out of the Stepping Stones education initiative.

Guest Speaker, retired Justice, Felipe Reyna, spoke to the crowd about why he is a Republican and why they will discover their values match those of the Republican Party. His message of overcoming obstacles resonated with parents, who made sure their children were able to meet Justice Reyna…a true example of dreaming big and never giving up.

Ralph Gonzales, Raul & Monica Jimenez, Johnny Gonzales, Gloria Garcia and Margarita…long time Republicans have formed the core group in Corsicana. They invited friends and family, set-up the facility and organized the event. We are extremely proud of the work being done in Navarro county regarding Hispanic Inclusion, and it is a pleasure working with Frank Steed, Republican County Chairman. Frank fully understands the dynamics and massive population expansion predicted within the Hispanic community, and is doing something now to prepare for the future.

We captured the moment and interviewed Frank Steed after the meeting. Listen to what he has to say about the Hispanic movement and the work we are doing through GOPisForMe…

FRANK SAID IT RIGHT AND THAT IS GETTING THE RIGHT MESSAGE OUT TO THE HISPANICS ON WHO I TRULY ON THEIR SIDE, NOT AS WHAT THE DEMOCRATS SAY HOW WE ARE. GETTING THEM REGISTERED AND TO THE POLLS FOR 2012 ELECTION TIME.

Like what you’re doing for the conservative movement. We have a lot of informed folks who can help the Hispanic community and we hope they will join us in working to keep the values that help make this country a better place to live, with what our founding fathers had envisioned.

  3. Send some of those informed folks to us. We would love to get them going with Stepping Stones…action-based education initiative… Thanks for the comment~
